Running The Template/Examples

Before you can run the template or the examples, you must copy (install) into the appropriate folder(s).

Installing SSK2

To Run Template

Copy ssk2 into ~/template/

To Run Standalone Game Starters

Copy ssk2 into:

~/examples/standalone/001_flappy_bird/
~/examples/standalone/002_escape/
~/examples/standalone/003_bouncing_ball/
~/examples/standalone/004_flappy_color/
~/examples/standalone/005_circle/

To Run Framed Game Starters

Copy ssk2 into:

~/examples/framed/001_flappy_bird/
~/examples/framed/002_escape/
~/examples/framed/003_bouncing_ball/
~/examples/framed/004_flappy_color/
~/examples/framed/005_circle/

Checking The SSK2 Installation

You can check that you copied the right content by opening the folder ssk2 that you just copied into the project you want to run. If you copied correctly, you will see a number of files and folders, including loadSSK.lua.
